TMC Students Leave for UK Degree Programmes in Media and Mass Communication and Hospitality and Tourism
On May 21st a group of TMC Academy students from the Schools of Media and Mass Communication and Tourism and Hospitality left Changi airport to join their UK degree summer programme in Liverpool.
The group had all completed their Singapore Higher Diploma courses in Tourism and Hospitality and Media and Mass Communication at TMC to progress to the prestigious bachelor degrees offered by Liverpool John Moores University. The established degree programme allows local and overseas students to study diplomas in Singapore and then complete a UK degree summer programme.
The introductory lectures for the UK degree courses were taught at TMC Academy in Singapore by ‘flying-faculty’ lecturers from the British university and the sessions covered a range of hospitality, media, tourism and mass communication subjects. Studying in Britain for 15 weeks the group will complete their Media and Mass Communication and Tourism and Hospitality degrees at Liverpool John Moores University campus and return with their British degrees to Singapore in August.
