Hawthorn English Students Reviews the Best Malls in Orchard Road

Every class was assigned a different activity, and in this article, we feature our Academic English students and their teacher, Ms Emma.

Our students visited ION Mall and Paragon Mall where they carried out some activates which would help them in writing a review of both malls. The students were tasked to evaluate based on available information and observations such as the service, cleanliness, food options, number of shops, types of shops, facilities and so on.

Our students preferred Paragon Mall (4 votes) to Ion Mall (2 votes) because Paragon had a nice eating area, organised shops and simple layout, and lots of maps/help/information.

Before the excursion was over, our students visited a rooftop garden at Orchard Central Mall to collect their sweet treat from an ‘ice-cream uncle’ who had teamed up with an app called Klock to give out free ice cream! Who said learning English is a chore? Look at how much fun our students are having![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][vc_column_text]Click here to find out more about our Hawthorn English programmes![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
