Our Hawthorn English students were challenged to write a traditional letter to their loved ones. It has been awhile since I last wrote. I remember telling you that I was going to Chinatown with my class in my last letter. We eventually went there last week, and though it was very hot and tiring, we still had a good time. Let me tell you something that happened that day.
We made a lot of lanterns with students from other classes. The process was rather smooth because there was a nice and helpful student that assisted us in making the lanterns. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be, but it was not interesting either. Yet, it made my day.
After the making of the lanterns, we decided to head out to Chinatown. Although the sun was shining brightly and the weather was extremely humid, it was still a good day to head out.
We took the bus to Chinatown with my teacher and with my classmates. Randy, one of my classmates from China, took photos all the time, and there were some photos of me that did not turn out that great. He showed it to the other classmates and they all laughed at the photos. It made me want to kill him (Kidding, hahahaha).
In Chinatown, we ate ice cream for lunch, because there were not many stalls in operation, and I was not that hungry. Besides, the weather was really hot.
Later, we went to Plaza Singapura with the intention to watch a movie, but in the end, we skipped it as there was no movie that interested us. Therefore, we settled at Burger King to eat and chat with one another.
